Our Story
Milk & Honey ♾️
Milk & Honey was first envisioned in 2008 by brothers Kellan and Kamaron Yancy — West Los Angeles natives immersed in culture, fashion, and the belief that the journey is always greater than the destination. Inspired by Exodus and the symbolism of the “Land of Milk and Honey,” the brand was built around a promise: not just of arrival, but of pursuit.
From the beginning, the number 8 — symbolic of infinity — quietly shaped the foundation. It represents rhythm. Cycles. Seasons. The understanding that growth is never linear, but continuous.
In 2017, Milk & Honey made its official debut, transforming clothing into art at an exclusive pop-up inside the Bruce Lurie Gallery on La Cienega. Garments floated within custom-built frames — a statement that fashion could exist at the intersection of art, discipline, and vision. That same year, the brothers carried the concept to the Agenda Trade Show in Long Beach, constructing a booth that resembled a curated backyard — green turf, wooden gates, and immersive storytelling — becoming one of the show’s most memorable installations.
In 2018, Milk & Honey expanded beyond fabric, collaborating with writer and actor Paul Dupree on the short film Pop Up, filmed at the original gallery location. The three-day cinematic opening blurred the lines between performance, installation, and brand narrative — reinforcing that Milk & Honey was never just apparel, but an evolving creative expression.
Then came a pause.
The global supply chain disruptions during COVID forced the brand into a season of stillness. But infinity teaches something important — pauses are not endings. They are part of the cycle.
Milk & Honey was never built for a moment. It was built for the infinite pursuit of the promise.
Now, re-emerging with clarity and discipline, the brand returns not as a restart, but as a continuation. Every 8th marks a new chapter — a rhythm of building, refining, and honoring the journey.
Milk & Honey represents the understanding that the promised land is not a destination you arrive at once. It is a state of becoming. A commitment to push forward through highs, lows, silence, and momentum.
The journey continues. ♾️
